Started in the early 1950s by qualified hairdresser and beautician Arturo Taverna with a market-leading salon in the city of Adelaide, Australia, the business has grown to what it is today and is still family owned and run. Artav's professional background in the hair and beauty industry, our constant desire to excel, as well as established support from our vitally important distributors, enables us to constantly develop and deliver market leading products and we look forward to even more exciting developments for the near future.

Artav Australia is privately owned and managed by the Taverna family. Arturo (Chairman) and eldest son Anthony (Managing Director) are both registered qualified hairdressers and cosmeticians. Youngest son, Andrew (Director), is General Manager and has a Bachelor of Commerce. Their combined diverse knowledge and experience in the management within the industry enable them to specialise in the direction of Artav Australia's operations.

Natural Look products are all developed and tested by a team of in-house and associated hairdressers, beauty therapists and chemists and are manufactured to a consistently high quality standard to be environmentally safe and cruelty free at competitive prices globally.

Proudly Australian made, we also have distributors of our products in New Zealand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam, Japan, UK, Latvia, Russia, Singapore, Philippines and Indonesia. We also offer a contract packaging and private label service where we develop packaging or filling to suit specific business needs.

Our beauty range includes products designed to give the complete pedicure and manicure spa experience with the Cool Feet and Hand & Nail ranges developed with aromatic essential oils to not only soothe and nourish the skin but to help calm the spirit and relax the mind as well. The beauty range also includes skin care, hair reduction, sunless bronzing, paraffin treatments and a stunning range of solid and liquid depilatory waxes blended with natural aromatic oils, titanium dioxide and mica for superior spreadability and effective long lasting hair removal. We are also suppliers of the Caflon total ear piercing solution and the Euro.So.Cap hair extension system.

Artav Australia has recently located to a 20,000 sq m premises and enables all of Artav’s operations to be under the same roof for the first time since the very early years of their 50 year history.

Whereas the actual footprint of site the may be large, the relocation plans point to a greener future. The initiatives include a rainwater reclaiming and recycling process that will not only help lesson Artav’s environmental impact, but ensure a sustainable supply of the pure and precious resource.
